In her current role at VillageMD, Mindy serves as an Embedded Healthcare Consultant, bringing her expertise to the strategic vision and physician engagement model for Michigan. She is responsible for identifying and managing enterprise acquisitions, maintaining executive relationships with acquisition target leadership, and overseeing market acquisition processes. Her role encompasses physician strategy, health system medical group interface, and payer relations.

She has assisted private, independent physicians in pursuing opportunities for market amalgamation and collaboration with other groups and physician organizations.
Mindy’s extensive client list includes major healthcare systems, medical groups, and independent practices across the State of Michigan. Her impact is reflected in the strategic planning, business expansion, and operational improvements she has brought to her clients.
In her role as SVP of Clinical Operations for Oakwood Healthcare Inc., Mindy directed clinical and physician operations. She was responsible for multiple hospital departments, including Rehabilitation Services and the establishment of a Cardiovascular Program in the State of Michigan, achieving the highest volume of CABGs in the state. Mindy was tasked with turning around Oakwood Hospital (Downriver Medical Center), and she successfully achieved this by recruiting and establishing key department heads, improving quality, increasing revenue, and delivering the highest margin among all hospital units within Oakwood Healthcare.
Mindy received her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medical Education (transferred to Healthcare Business Degree) at Michigan State University. She then attended the University of Michigan, where she received her Master of Health Service Administration (MHSA).
