Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Leader to analyze, develop and implement marketing strategies to align with the company’s growth plan; lead and execute key marketing areas including brand equity and engagement, public relations, digital advertising, and business development are in line with corporate strategy. The Marketing Vice President will have primary leadership in developing and implementing digital and offline marketing strategies to strengthen client acquisition and retention. Additionally the Vice President of Marketing works very closely with the wealth management and BAS (Business Advisory Services) team to generate and manage leads to qualify prospects and help facilitate moving them through the sales process for the purpose of achieving the company’s business plan goals. In addition, a key responsibility is to maintain a working knowledge of the industry market trends and competitors to assist in development of sales and marketing strategies and action plans.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with prior experience working with an RIA and able to employ unique marketing techniques. He/She will be a skilled marketing strategist and able to drive creativity while increasing the company’s brand engagement and maximizing revenues.
Principal Accountabilities
- Develop marketing plans and initiatives to support strategic direction and align business plans with organizational objectives,
- Use various online tactics to increase visibility, content engagement and drive client retention and acquisition and service usage;
- Develop and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence & brand equity
- Determine the organization’s media goals and objectives and overseeing the execution of media plans and programs.
- Initiate and lead the coordinating, planning and implementation around company events and sponsorships – virtual or in-person aimed to drive new leads. Organizing the production of branded items such as collateral materials and event signage. Maintains relationships with external partners/associations, acting as a point of contact for practice areas. Negotiates sponsorship benefits, coordinates the activation and renewal of sponsorship programs, and key deliverables.
- Lead the implementation of multi-channel campaigns designed to engage and nurture audiences and drive demand in support of firm goals. Tracks success of marketing campaigns and makes recommendations for improving results in future campaigns.
- Facilitates the development and distribution of digital communications, including setting up campaigns and marketing lists in CRM, recommending suggestions of content and design from Managing Principal and other staff members.
- Takes a lead role in the maintenance of our CRM system and tracks success of marketing campaigns and online activities. Maintains expert level of knowledge in CRM and capable of training practice staff in appropriate use of systems to support practice development efforts and tracks data and analytical details.
- Drafts social media, internal and external communications, and develops related technology workflows.
- Develop and execute the strategy for earned content to support the overall brand positioning and business development efforts
- Oversee marketing budget and allocate resources amongst projects
- Closely monitor marketing performance / analytics. Prepare and submit executive report
- Analyze research, data, technology, and other metrics to understand user intent and measure outcomes for ongoing optimization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience working as a consultant or in a leadership position, working knowledge and experience with branding, digital marketing, digital analytics, website design, and copywriting expertise strongly preferred.
- Degree in business administration, marketing, communications or related field strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels such as Search, and Display
- Prior leadership experience in Marketing, Sales, Public Relations and/or Operations with steep marketing business acumen preferred.
- Financial Services experience; preferably with an RIA firm
- Strong understanding of affluent market needs and demands
Skills
- Good understanding of current online marketing techniques and best practices
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask multiple projects/tasks and re-prioritize as needed.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation software a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strategic leadership skills a plus

Position Summary
CIG Capital Advisors is seeking a Senior Wealth Manager/leader (SWM) as a player/coach to both focus on developing and growing comprehensive high touch HNW relationships for the firm and to guide and motivate the existing CIG wealth advisors to grow and expand their client base. The SWM will report to a member of the Firm’s executive leadership team. Ideally, the person would be located in Southfield MI [but Position provides significant growth potential via proven service and product offerings with the opportunity to be part of ground floor expansion and build-out of team. Extensive support and infrastructure provided via established systems and back office team.
Principal Accountabilities
CIG Capital Advisors assists Clients in making informed decisions on protecting and growing their wealth. The firm works to understand a Client’s needs, wants, and desires – their life and legacy goals, articulated in a lifetime wealth plan. The senior wealth manager/Leader (SWM) guides Clients through our disciplined investment management process helping them to achieve financial security and peace of mind. It is proactive with proven methodology that is both forward looking and agile.
The SWM develops ongoing financial planning relationships with new and existing clients according to their goals and risk-management profiles.
Senior Wealth Managers will leverage regular meetings (in-person, video-conferencing, webinars and/or via telephone) to track the client’s progress vs. goal and, when appropriate, work with internal resources to reallocate investments in order to keep the client on track.
Engage in on-going professional development to increase industry, product, sales and servicing skills and abilities.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Sales – Successfully acquire significant client relationships resulting in additional assets under management.
- Coaching – Counsel Wealth Mangers and Associate Wealth Managers through formal training, informal learning opportunities and as part of client relationship reviews.
- Consultation – Identifies professional consulting/advisory needs within clients and facilitate services and solutions to clients through CIG’s delivery and implementation of advanced planning techniques: (estate, tax, insurance, investment, retirement)
- Delivery – Convey sophisticated wealth plans to clients and their advisors in collaboration with the Portfolio Management team, in a clear and concise manner and respond appropriately and promptly to their questions.
- Research & Development – Conducts analysis related to the use of various complex tax and estate planning strategies under consideration by clients and develops financial modeling and flowcharts to demonstrate the economic impact of the strategies.
- Scrutiny – Identify potential issues and opportunities to discuss, review and problem solve with the client.
- Marketing – Implement and refine lead generation strategies with the support of the marketing department.
- Relationship Development – Distinguish and expand relationships by focusing on nurturing the lead generation process and building “centers of influence” (ie. Attorneys and CPAs), resulting in additional business opportunities.
- Training – Create and maintain presentation materials for general use and client specific use with support from the Associate Wealth Managers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive experience working with high-net worth clients, an established track record of developing and closing new business, and ideally portable AUM. (May consider individual with a successful track record in sales and business development who is not able to bring over a book immediately due to contractual restrictions.)
- Minimum of 10 years in investment management services.
- Bachelor’s degree and CFA, CIMA or CFP designation is required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Advisors with experience working with clients in the medical field a plus.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to clients, business partners and management.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Leadership experience highly preferred.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office programs.

Position Summary
We have an excellent opportunity a for Client Support Specialist position on our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting clients across diverse business units.
The successful candidate will primarily assist our Wealth Management, Business Advisory Services (BAS) and Operations teams with activities related to high net worth client support, relationship management, and sales support. The Client Support Specialist plays an active role in financial plan proposal development, client service meetings content preparation and follow up, prospecting process, research and analysis in supporting client identification of investment objectives, available products and services for clients to achieve their financial goals.
Principal Responsibilities
Wealth Management Support
- Provide operational support with procedures and compliance requirements including preparation & processing of new account paperwork, forms and documents.
- Assisting with financial planning activities for clients and referral source management.
- Assisting with presentation materials; collaborating with marketing on collateral materials; prepare individualized materials for client meetings
Client Service Support
- Communication and follow-up with clients as directed by senior level staff members
- Assist in providing professional consulting/advisory services and solutions to clients through the development, delivery and implementation of advanced planning techniques across business lines.
- Prepare, audit and process client account applications and other required documents.
Research and Analysis
- Conduct investment related products and strategies research
- Research and conduct analysis on the use of various complex tax and estate planning strategies and develop financial solutions and reports.
- Research, propose and attend continuing education and training opportunities in order to broaden relations, network and continually deepen knowledge of trends, practices, products and competitors that could but are not limited to professional articles, trainings, industry specific forums, conferences and meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- 0-3 years’ experience in wealth management planning, investment banking, asset management or sales; finance internships or applicable coursework
- Four-year degree in finance, business, economics or relevant field, MBA or currently enrolled in program is preferred. Plan to obtain CFA or CFP preferred but not required.
- Certifications or Licenses Required: Series 7 and 66 or pass within 90 days of employment (insurance licensing is also a plus)
- Technology – Proficient with Microsoft Office. Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and internal systems (including CRM i.e. Tamarac) to perform daily tasks, processing, various data analysis and create/edit documents.
